Jan Broad and Jolyn Aaker

Jan is a natural born teacher. She has taught elementary school children for 25 years and raised three beautiful daughters. She has a heart of gold and the energy of fifty people and is the epitome of a yes woman! Creating and running OPEN exemplifies everything Jan believes in: family, giving back and community.

A definite go-getter, Jolyn has a passion for giving back and has inspired our youth to give back too. She has helped hundreds of families working at Regional Center of the East Bay for the last 15 years. Jolyn loves outdoors and adventures.
