Lafayette had a "Community Day" and Open loved supporting the day! When: Saturday, June 3rd, from 8:30 to 2pm.  Volunteer hours 9:30-12 noon. Where: We started and end at Plaza Park. What: Welcome rally, coffee and breakfast treats before teams disperse to worksites.  Volunteer projects. Lunch, music, and celebration on the Plaza once the work is done.

A huge shout out to Zoe Freeze for planning a wonderful April Open event! We successfully packed 60 boxes to donate to refugees!!! The boxes contained household items for the Jewish Community Services in the East Bay.

Open is supported a great organization called Brighter Beginnings (https://adopt-a-family-program.herokuapp.com/) by adopting 15 families!  We had the opportunity to brighten the lives of so many families this holiday season!  

  We had the best time supporting American Diabetes Association by riding our bikes with our kids and raised a total of 3000$! Way to go Open! --
