Oakland Zoo – July 20, 2019
What’s it all about?
You may not have noticed if you’ve visited the Oakland Zoo previously but there is a beautiful stretch of the Arroyo Viejo Creek that runs right through the zoo grounds. It’s pretty hidden, flowing from under the entrance road to the Park. We will be helping to repair damaged and neglected stream areas. It is important to look after these areas because it helps to improve and sustain the habitat for creek wildlife. All volunteers will receive free entry to the zoo after the project is complete!
