WHAT:  OAKLAND LAKE LUNCHES (https://www.lakemerrittumc.org/ )
Lake Lunches is a food program of Lake Merritt United Methodist Church. They utilize volunteers to prepare 240 lunches a week and then deliver these lunches twice a week to the hungry and unsheltered no questions asked in the areas surrounding Lake Merritt.  Food is delivered along with toiletries and warm jackets. Volunteers assist in preparing & packing lunches and walking the lake area nearby to distribute the meals.  Open volunteered to help prepare the 240 lunches!
