City Team

A huge thank you to City Team and our wonderful Open Family volunteers for making over 100 lunches to be passed out to the Oakland homeless population and doing some serious weeding at one of City Team’s Oakland’s shelter. It was a fantastic success!

Where: Oakland Women and Children’s Shelter

Outside in the shelter’s backyard (masks required).
Who: City Team (https://cityteam.org/oakland/) We worked with City Team. City Team’s vision is
“Restoring lives and rebuilding communities through innovative programs which provide food, shelter, clothing, training, and spiritual transformation.”
What: Open donated items to feed 100 lunches to people living in homelessness. On February 27th, Open volunteers made sandwiches and package the lunches.
