Who: Glide Memorial https://www.glide.org/
What: Volunteers Served breakfast- here is the description from Glide’s website:
“Serving a meal in the Daily Free Meals Program can be a transformative experience. The shift starts with set up at 7am, and breakfast is served to the community from 7:30 to 9am. Clean up is from 9-9:30am and we greatly appreciate if you are able to stay and help out. We serve the most meals during this shift, on average 700 – 800 meals every day. Our older adult and differently abled guests are served first, and the all access meals line opens at 8am. This program requires 85 volunteers each day to fill all our shifts, 364 days a year. With your help we can serve up to 2400 meals per day to our community. Volunteers assist with everything from serving food and bussing tables, to handing out silverware and condiments. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, break a sweat, and make some beautiful human connections!”
